Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the US. She was best known as Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 and 2014. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting while attending Preparatory School. In the late 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna had a brief stint performing in Chicago theater before transitioning to television and film. Anna got her big break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore. She also guest-starred on the show. was on Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Then it wasn't until the late 1990s that she took on the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character that she played for a period of two seasons on Deadwood's season two. Skyler played her part in Breaking Bad. Sully is the Deadwood film and a few other films also featured her. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. The year 2022 saw Gunn participated in an audio-play series called "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's life tale and the tension in the relationship he has with Skyler is mirrored in the series.
